Job Title: Accounting Assistant
Job Summary:We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting and finance operations. The ideal candidate has at least one (1) year of relevant accounting experience; however, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
This position requires accuracy, integrity, and a basic understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and recording of financial transactions
- Maintain and update accounting records, ledgers, and files
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Assist in bank reconciliations and monitoring of cash transactions
- Prepare basic financial reports and schedules as required
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting documents
- Assist in the preparation of documents for audits and compliance requirements
- Coordinate with other departments regarding financial documentation
- Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or any related course
- At least one (1) year of accounting experience is an advantage
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity
- Willing to learn and able to work independently or with minimal supervision
