Production planning and inventory control supervisor

• Forecasting and Demand Planning
• Continuously review sales trend to be able to make reliable product forecast and parts safety stock.
• Manage forecasting and procurement and allocation of manpower and material requirements.
• Continuous collaboration with sales team to gather necessary data for forecasting
• Production Planning and Scheduling
• Communicate with other departments regarding production schedule to meet customer requirements.
• Monitor production processes and recommend adjustments in schedules, if necessary.
• Material and Service Procurement
• Develop and implement good business relationships with external providers to ensure quality of material purchases, on time, in full delivery at reasonable prices.
• Review and approve material purchases for customer orders.
• Inventory Management
• Oversee inventory activities of the company.
• Monitor inventory, and initiate and implement controls and procedures to ensure optimal level of inventory.
• Monitor and analyze inventory turn-over ratio to minimize dead stock.
• Import and Export
• Oversee import and export operations to optimize supply chain processes that are compliant with customs and other regulatory bodies at reasonable shipping costs.
• Cost Management
• Analyze and reviews financial reports necessary for monitoring company performance.
• Calculate, reviews and approve product pricing and provide regular price updates to customers.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and sustainable productivity.
• Collaborate with different departments to meet customer requirements and optimize production efficiency at reasonable cost.
• Team Management
• Continuously mentor the members, monitor their performance, and provide assessment and evaluations.
• Establish and implement best practices to improve processes that involve material planning, production scheduling, procurement, inventory control, and import and export.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by implementing, maintaining, and aligning company policies with health and safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, any engineering course.
• At least 2 years of working experience in a manufacturing setup is required for this position.
• Preferably Supervisor / 2 yrs & up experienced employees specializing in Production Planning and Inventory Control or equivalent.
