Qualifications
  • 1 to 3 years of healthcare or medical call center experience
  • Knowledge of medical insurance including PPO and HMO plans highly desirable
  • Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Friendly, patient-focused personality with strong customer service skills
  • Ability to handle high call volumes while remaining calm and professional
  • Typing speed of at least 55 words per minute
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Warm, friendly, and helpful phone presence
  • Team player who enjoys helping patients and solving problems
  • Dependable and motivated individual who takes pride in their work
Responsibilities
  • Answer high-volume incoming calls from patients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
  • Assist patients with questions related to services, providers, and clinic locations
  • Verify and interpret patient insurance information including PPO and HMO plans
  • Provide clear and compassionate communication while assisting patients with their needs
  • Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record system
  • Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure smooth patient scheduling and communication
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times
