Quality Assurance Assistant Supervisor

VjANDEP Bakeshop is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Assistant Supervisor to support the implementation and monitoring of quality standards across our manufacturing operations. This role ensures compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements while working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain product quality and operational efficiency.

• Supervise and guide the QA team in enforcing GMP, food safety, and quality standards
• Review production batch records and ensure compliance with documentation requirements
• Conduct audits on raw materials, packaging, and finished products
• Monitor implementation of HACCP, sanitation, hygiene, allergen control, and pest control programs
• Assist in coordinating product testing, inspections, and release/hold processes
• Oversee “On Hold” and rejected product handling
• Investigate and resolve quality issues, including customer complaints
• Provide recommendations to improve product quality and operational efficiency
• Participate in internal, regulatory, and third-party audits
• Train, mentor, and evaluate QA team members
• Prepare and submit quality monitoring reports for management

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology or any related course
• With relevant experience in quality assurance or food manufacturing
• Knowledgeable in GMP, HACCP, ISO standards, and food safety systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure
• Willing to travel if needed
