COMPANY NURSE / SAFETY OFFICER (FOR CEBU PLANT)

JOB FUNCTION:

Responsible for the smooth and profitable operation of a company’s Health & Wellness of all Employees

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary Duties:

1. Renders basic nursing care such as, first-aid treatment, wound dressing, palliative care, etc.
2. Conducts initial medical assessment through vital-signs measurement and history taking.
3. Assists the Retainer Physician when performing physical examination.
4. Assess employee's fitness to work within the scope of their profession.
5. Dispenses over-the-counter and doctor prescribed medicines.
6. Maintains and updates medical records and other pertinent documents related to the health condition, profile of employees and medical clearances.
7. Conducts daily and monthly inventory of medicines, disposables and medical supplies.
8. Assists in the Annual Check-Up (ACU) availment of members and releasing of ACU results.
9. Facilitates Random Drug Testing and Vaccination programs.
10. Addresses client complaints within 24 hours and provides valuable information and recommendations for its resolution.
11. Recommends improvements/new ideas for procedures and processes of regarding Safety, Health and Wellness.
12. Agency hired employees ~ Monitors and maintains records of daily consultations and medical clearances.
13. Provides monthly updates to the HRD Supervisor on health hazards/unsafe practices.
14. Facilitates Health and Wellness programs.
15. Interact and coordinate with different departments to support company driven initiatives.
16. Practice good patient care and rapport.
17. Flexible and is willing go beyond the extra mile.
18. Ensures documentation of all job related incidents / accidents.
19. Process Security Guard DTR & billing
20. Incharge of Medicine request
21. Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
22. Daily itinerary / schedule of driver.
23. Monitor itinerary of incoming / outgoing visitors (food, flight schedule, service vehicle, hotel reservation).

1. Conduct Safety Meeting (WHEN)
2. Organize Safety Committee / Training.
3. Conduct Fire Drill / Earthquake Drill together with BFP twice a year (WHEN).
4. Coordinate with BFP for Fire Brigade Seminars.
5. Check plan safety – daily roving.
6. Inspect Fire Extinguishers.
7. Inspect Fire Hose Cabinets.
8. Check Fire Truck.
9. Update Safety countdown.
10. Check Personal Protective Equipment.
11. Make safety memo.
12. Make accident/incident memo (WHERE)
13. Attend Corporate Safety Meeting (WHEN)
14. Process Annual Fire Inspection Certificate (Every July of the year).
15. Assist Safety Audit by BFP and comply, coordinate to top management for the findings.
16. Respond to fire alarm (3 kilometers radius).
17. Visit DOLE/OSH (SCHEDULE).
18. Provide and check Safety Budget every year.
19. Observe / conducts cleanliness and 7S housekeeping in the workplace in compliance to the Health and Safety Standards set by the company

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registered Nurse
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in the same field
• Analytical skills and an eye for details
• Planning and Organizational skills
• Communication skills
