SMC-IFSI is engaged in the management, operation, and maintenance of farms, hatcheries, slaughterhouses, fishpond, storage and various facilities and equipment for breeding, hatching, raising, growing, production, slaughter and / or processing of poultry.Fowls, hogs, livestock and other kinds of animals and foodstuffs and other activities allied or incidental thereto such as but not limited to animal feeds, nutrition and healthcare.
Job description and minimum qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Assist, advise or guide in complying with the risk assessment and development of health and safety programs;
- Make at least a monthly appraisal of programs and safety performance of the company/establishment,
- To be present during scheduled safety inspection by authorized government agents, and during regular safety
- Directs the accident prevention efforts of the establishment in accordance with the safety programs safety
- Conducts safety meetings at least once a month.
- Reviews reports of inspection, accident investigations and implementation of program.
- Submits all mandatory reports periodically and regularly on OSH meetings and activities to DOLE.
- Provides necessary assistance to government inspecting authorities in the proper conduct of their activities.
- Initiates and supervises training for employees.
- Help develops and maintains a disaster contingency plan and organizes such emergency service units.
- Establishes and adopts in writing administrative policies on safety in conformity.
- Reports to the enforcing authority copies of the policies adopted and the health and safety organization
established to carry out the program on safety and health.
A Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the company and its employees. A safety officer
identifies, investigates, and controls safety hazards, conducts risk assessments, and enforces preventative measures.
A safety officer also supports the development of OHS policies and programs, advises and instructs on safety-related
topics, and provides information to the appropriate function.
