- Identifies Potential accounts within the area and taps them for possible referral to Head Office.
- Responsible for cross-selling, soliciting, and referring commercial accounts to the head office.
- Responsible in marketing the bank's deposits products: CASA, SSA, Check Access, etc.
- Solicits, evaluates, and monitors retail loans such as auto loans, house mortgage loans, etc.
- Drives expansion of the Branch's market/account base in order to contribute a substantial return to the Bank.
- Develops and maintains a long-term relationship with its clients by servicing the client's total basic banking needs.
- Ensures proper communication with clients with regards to their accounts.
- Responsible for the over-all supervision of all the personnel in the branch.
- Ensures that Branch members adheres to set policies and guidelines, and practices.
- Motivates the staff to peak efficiency and productivity, maintains workforce harmony, and pleasant work atmosphere.
- Approves daily time record, overtime, and leave of absence of all branch personnel.
- Responsible for the dissemination and implementation of office orders, memoranda, BSP circulars and other rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining harmony and unity in the branch.
- Ensures the attendance and active participation of the branch in meetings, seminars and other activities of the bank.
- Conducts performance evaluation of the Sales and Service Officer (SSO); review the performance evaluation of all the personnel conducted by the Sales and Service Officer (SSO) and makes recommendations.
- Ensures the security and cleanliness of the Branch.
- Ensures that the operation of the Branch is in accordance with all rules, regulations, policies and procedures of all external regulatory agencies and internal corporate policies.
- Manages operational costs at an acceptable and efficient level in order to achieve over-all profitability of the branches in coordination with the Branch Marketing Officers.
- Ensures the efficient delivery of customer service of the operations personnel.
- Assists in business development of branches to ensure profitability of all branches.
- Approves payment for withdrawals against clear saving and demand deposits, Time Deposits, FCDU Accounts, Manager's Checks and Demand Draft.
- Checks and approves reports, print-outs and tickets pertaining to the transaction of the branch.
- Acts as a Sales & Service Officer whenever needed.
- Countersigns jointly with another officer: Manager's Checks, Demand Draft, mail transfer, Debit /Credit Memos, Due From/To Head Office tickets, Certificates of Time Deposits and etc.
- Approves opening of account.
- Authenticates submitted photocopies of corporate papers.
- Conducts surprise bundle count of the total cash in vault at least once a month.
- Ensures that reports are submitted on time
- Custodian of the Bank's Office Order.
- Performs other duties that may be assigned by the BRG Sales Head/BRG Head from time to time.
