Job Summary

The HR Associate supports the daily human resource operations of the construction company, including recruitment, employee records management, payroll coordination, timekeeping, employee relations, and compliance with labor regulations.

Recruitment and Hiring
  • Assist in sourcing, screening, and scheduling applicants.
  • Coordinate hiring requirements for office and project-based employees.
  • Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documents.
  • Conduct employee orientation for newly hired workers and staff.
Employee Records and Documentation
  • Maintain and update employee 201 files and HR databases.
  • Monitor attendance, leaves, and employee movements.
  • Ensure complete documentation for site workers and subcontracted personnel.
Timekeeping and Payroll Support
  • Collect and verify daily time records from project sites.
  • Coordinate payroll concerns with accounting/payroll personnel.
  • Monitor overtime, absences, and leave applications.
Employee Relations
  • Address employee inquiries regarding HR policies and benefits.
  • Assist in handling disciplinary actions and incident reports.
  • Support employee engagement and company activities.
Compliance and Administration
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Process government-mandated benefits and documentation such as:
  • SSS
  • PhilHealth
  • Pag-IBIG
  • BIR requirements
  • Assist in DOLE compliance and reporting.
Other Duties
  • Coordinate with project managers regarding manpower requirements.
  • Assist in training and development activities.
  • Perform other HR and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 1 year of HR experience preferred.(Fresh graduates are welcome)
  • Experience in construction or project-based companies is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR processes.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
