Position: Logistics & Operations Assistant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains proper safekeeping and organization of all POS terminals, peripherals, and related assets.
• Ensures POS assets are stored securely and are protected from damage or loss.
• Conducts regular checks to validate the completeness and condition of POS units in storage.
• Updates inventory logs and tracking sheets for POS assets and consumables.
• Assists in reconciling variances and preparing inventory status reports.
• Updates records immediately to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Ensures compliance with asset control procedures.
• Facilitates the release of POS terminals, peripherals, and other items to internal clients, branches, or project teams.
• Ensures all releases are documented accurately, with complete acknowledgment forms.
• Receives returned POS assets and verifies completeness and condition upon arrival.

• Performs configuration and preparation of POS terminals before deployment.
• Conducts functionality testing (hardware and software) to ensure operability before release.
• Reports any defective or non-working units to the Team Leader or Supervisor for troubleshooting or repair.

• Prepares items for dispatch (packaging, labeling, documentation).
• Coordinates with Field Technicians, couriers, or logistics partners for scheduled pick-up and deliveries.
• Tracks shipments and ensures the timely arrival or return of POS-related assets.
• Submits all required supporting documents, transmittals, and reports to Head Office.

• Maintains organized and updated digital and physical files for audit and reference.
• Maintains cleanliness, order, and safety within the storage, preparation, and logistics areas. Promotes and practices 6S discipline: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety.
• Ensures compliance with operational standards at all times.

• Assists in any additional tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.
• Provides general assistance during deployments, events, or special projects when required

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidates must demonstrate experience in inventory management, supply chain coordination, warehouse operations, distribution planning, and quality control.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics or operations is required for this position.
• A bachelor's degree is required for this role.
• Candidates must possess inventory tracking capabilities and basic computer skills.
• A graduate of Operations Management is an advantage.
• With knowledge of computer operations and hardware handling.
• Able to work 6 days a week (Mon-Sat).
• Able to work in the area around Looc, Mandaue City, Cebu.
• Preferably can start immediately.
