QC / Operation Manager - Cebu

Is currently looking for:

QC / OPERATION MANAGER

Operations Management:

• Oversee and manage all daily batching plant operations, including production planning, raw material control, and logistics coordination.
• Monitor and optimize plant performance to meet production targets while minimizing downtime.
• Supervise plant staff including batching operators, lab technicians, and maintenance personnel.
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure the timely availability of cement, aggregates, admixtures, and other materials.
• Maintain accurate production records and submit daily/weekly operational reports to management.
• Ensure all plant machinery and equipment are regularly maintained and in good working condition.

Quality Control:

• Supervise and implement quality control systems to ensure concrete mix designs meet client specifications and relevant standards.
• Oversee raw material and concrete sampling/testing (slump, compressive strength, temperature, etc.).
• Develop, maintain, and revise concrete mix designs as needed.
• Investigate quality-related issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain proper documentation of quality reports, test results, and material certifications.

Compliance, Safety & Environmental Responsibility:

• Enforce strict compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) standards in all operations.
• Conduct safety briefings, inspections, and ensure all personnel use proper PPE and follow safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations regarding emissions, dust control, and wastewater.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a concrete batching plant environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Solid understanding of concrete technology, quality control procedures, and batching operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
