Project Engineer

Job Summary

Ensures accurate data entry, monitoring, and reporting of daily timesheets, project progress, KPIs, and related engineering documentation, while providing value-added insights to support project efficiency and compliance.

• Monitors and inputs data from daily timesheets and reports relating to engineering activities, implements data collection strategies, verifies information sources (e.g., Excel files, field reports), and tracks progress against regulatory, technical, and project milestones.
• Manages data resources and tools: receives and processes time sheets, reports, and progress updates in various formats (e.g., Excel, digital forms), maintains databases or tracking systems, organizes classification and archiving of records, and ensures data integrity.
• Develops and produces customized reports and summaries adapted to project needs: compiles daily/weekly/monthly progress reports, KPI dashboards, timesheet analyses, and visualizations (e.g., charts, summaries) for distribution via email, shared drives, or project management software.
• Ensures relations with team members and stakeholders assists engineers and supervisors with data queries, provides guidance on timesheet submission and progress tracking, and conducts basic training on data entry tools and methods.

Requirements:

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field, and at least 1-2 years of experience in data entry, report generation, or project support roles.
• Experience with time sheet management and KPI monitoring in construction or engineering projects is preferred.
