Civil Engineering Project Head

Job Summary:

The Project Head is responsible for overall planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of construction projects. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Strategy

• Lead project planning, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation
• Develop project execution plans and construction schedules
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants

1. Project Execution & Management

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities on-site
• Ensure compliance with design specifications and standards
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed

1. Budget & Cost Control

• Prepare and manage project budgets
• Track expenses and ensure cost efficiency
• Approve procurement of materials and services

1. Team Leadership

• Supervise project engineers, and site staff
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors
• Foster a high-performance and safety-focused work environment

1. Quality & Safety Management

• Ensure adherence to quality standards and inspection processes
• Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance
• Address and resolve site issues promptly

1. Stakeholder Management

• Provide regular project updates and reports
• Manage expectations and resolve concerns

1. Risk & Issue Management

• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans
• Handle project delays, disputes, or unforeseen challenges

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Licensed Engineer
• 5–15 years of experience in construction, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Financial and budget management skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Project completion within timeline and budget
• Quality compliance and minimal rework
• Safety performance (zero or minimal incidents)
• Amenable to a stay-in arrangement in Tarlac.
