Accounting Officer (General Accounting)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining precise financial records, preparing comprehensive reports, and ensuring strict compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly statements, closing reports, and cost accounting summaries. Perform financial analysis to provide management with actionable insights.
• Ledger Management: Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries for accounts, including general ledger operations and documenting all business transactions.
• Operational Oversight: Oversee the validation of transactions and verify their impact on general accounts. This includes reconciling and maintaining balance sheet accounts and bank reconciliations.
• Accounts Management: Efficiently handle accounts payable and receivable. This includes checking invoices for inaccuracies and contacting clients regarding past-due accounts.
• Cost Control: Maintain meticulous records of business costs, such as labor and materials, ensuring they align with our production and retail standards.
• System Integrity: Monitor and review accounting system reports for accuracy and completeness. Establish and coordinate the implementation of robust accounting control procedures.
• Support & Query Handling: Act as a point of contact for general account queries and perform daily journal entries to ensure the general ledger is always audit-ready.

• A graduate of any 4-year course, preferably in any field of Accountancy
• At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong experience using accounting software and Advanced skills in MS Excel
• High Integrity: Unwavering commitment to financial accuracy and ethical standards.
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent time management with the ability to meet strict month-end and year-end deadlines.
• Willing to work extended hours
