Accounting Supervisor

The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making. This role requires strong expertise in preparing and analyzing feasibility studies, including financial projections, cost-benefit analysis, and investment evaluations.

1. Accounting & Financial Oversight

• Supervise and review daily accounting activities (general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll).
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.
• Monitor compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

1. Feasibility Study & Financial Analysis

• Lead the preparation of comprehensive feasibility studies for new projects, investments, or business expansions.
• Develop financial models including projections (income statement, cash flow, and balance sheet).
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis, break-even analysis, and ROI evaluations.
• Assess financial risks and provide recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with different departments to gather data and assumptions for feasibility studies.

1. Supervision & Team Leadership

• Manage and mentor accounting staff, ensuring productivity and accuracy.
• Review work outputs and provide guidance and training when necessary.
• Coordinate with auditors and external stakeholders during audits.

1. Reporting & Decision Support

• Present financial reports and feasibility findings to senior management.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and efficiency.
• Support strategic initiatives through data-driven financial analysis.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA is preferred (but not always required).
• At least 3–5 years of experience in accounting, with supervisory experience.
• Proven experience in preparing feasibility studies and financial modeling.

1. • Minimum of 1-2 completed feasibility studies required to demonstrate practical application of financial modelling expertise.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
