Accounting Supervisor

FSB Land Holdings Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR to join our team and lead daily financial operations. The chosen candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, supervising accounting activities, and ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, company policies, and internal and external audit requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including: month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities treasury, budget cash forecasting revenue and expenditure, variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, and trust account statement reconciliations.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and create financial reports or statements.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits.
• Supervise and mentor Accounting staffs
• Direct the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports and regulatory reports and filings to ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting reportorial & statutory requirements for decision making of management and implementation of organization-wide financial strategy.
• Responsible for tax compliance, annual budget preparation, allocation and approval of expenditures, fund balances, and related financial activities to ensure financial viability and to realize maximum profitability from its business activities.
• Review, redesign, update, develop & recommend existing and new finance policies & procedures in order to provide check & balance on functions & processes to strengthen controls and meet both current & future business models.
• Attend to client inquiries, meetings, and audits in order to build rapport and strong relationship with clients.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or any related course
• With at least three to five (3-5) years of relevant experience
• Profound knowledge in Tax Compliance, Financial Reporting, and General Accounting
• Has strong business acumen with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Possess a good command of English both oral and written
• Preferably residing in Minglanilla, Cebu or nearby areas
