Position Overview
The Marketing Communications Specialist develops brand-aligned marketing materials and presentations to support business development, marketing campaigns, and select events. This includes presentation design, copywriting, collateral creation, and event content support.The role requires strong writing skills, the ability to translate stakeholder input into persuasive messaging, and expertise in creating professional, brand-compliant presentations for client-facing engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Presentation & Content Development- Meet regularly with the business development team and other stakeholders to gather information and understand customer objectives.
- Interpret and distill the information provided into clear, compelling written content that aligns with our brand messaging.
- Develop high-quality, brand-compliant presentations using approved templates and formats.
- Write all narrative elements, talking points, and supporting copy for presentations to ensure clarity, accuracy, and persuasive impact.
- Create supporting materials such as one-pagers, proposals, and case studies for customer meetings.
- Write and edit content for various marketing channels, including website, email campaigns, social media, and printed collateral.
- Support the development of brochures, flyers, infographics, and other sales enablement materials.
- Ensure all messaging and materials reflect the company’s brand voice, tone, and visual identity.
- Assist in creating event-specific marketing content, including invitations, agendas, signage, and presentations for conferences, trade shows, customer events, and internal gatherings.
- Partner with marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure alignment of communications across all platforms.
- Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Maintain and update corporate presentation templates and content libraries.
- Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all customer-facing and event materials.
- Provide recommendations for improvements in messaging, presentation design, and content formats.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in marketing and communications, working closely with executive-level professionals—especially U.S.-based clients.
- Skilled in creating presentations, coordinating business meetings and conferences, and crafting clear, engaging content with a copywriter’s precision.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills for professional business audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, and presentation design best practices.
- Familiarity with event content creation is a plus.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar is a plus.
- Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
