HR Training Officer

Southwestern University Medical Center is looking for a passionate HR Training Officer to lead the hospital’s learning initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify training needs in collaboration with Department Heads.
• Develop, organize, and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and e-learning programs for hospital staff.
• Coordinate with internal subject matter experts, external trainers, consultants, and medical educators when necessary.
• Assist in creating training materials, manuals, and guides aligned with company policies relevant to hospital operations and compliance
• Support onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new employees.
• Track and monitor employee participation and progress in training programs.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
• Maintain accurate training records and provide reports to the hospital management.
• Manage training schedules, logistics, and training-related resources.
• Maintain records of completed training and certifications and ensure that this is properly filed.
• Support staff development initiatives, succession planning, and continuous professional development (CPD) programs.
• Ensure that all DOH-mandated and other regulatory training are scheduled, delivered, and completed by all concerned employees.
• Assist in managing the training budget and optimizing resource utilization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• At least 2 years experience in HR training, learning and development or similar role
• Knowledge of learning principles and training methods.
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
