MEMBERSHIP AND TRAINING OFFICER

Job Summary

The Membership and Training Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing training programs, seminars, and membership-related activities. The role also focuses on strengthening member engagement, supporting membership growth, and ensuring the successful delivery of organizational events and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Events Management
  • Lead the planning and execution of seminars, workshops, forums, and training programs
  • Drive marketing and promotion efforts to maximize event participation
  • Coordinate with speakers, partners, and internal teams for seamless event delivery
  • Manage participant engagement and ensure successful program outcomes
  • Prepare post-event reports and performance evaluations
  • Oversee and facilitate the Student Internship Program (SIP)
  • Collaborate with the Educational Committee on training initiatives
Membership Engagement & Growth
  • Act as the primary point of contact for CFIF members
  • Strengthen relationships through regular communication and visits
  • Support membership expansion through recruitment and onboarding
  • Organize member-focused activities, including networking events and CSR initiatives
  • Lead the coordination of major events such as membership meetings, elections, and annual celebrations
Administrative & Organizational Support
  • Attend and actively participate in committee and staff meetings
  • Provide regular updates on activities, accomplishments, and concerns
  • Support internal coordination across membership and training functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or related field
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in events, training, membership, or administrative roles
  • Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in event management, training programs, or stakeholder engagement
  • Background in associations, NGOs, or similar organizations
