Position Overview

We are looking for a licensed Social Worker who is compassionate, patient, and highly organized, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate must be able to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while advocating for the best interests of the children.

• Assess the emotional, social, and psychological needs of children through regular evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized care and intervention plans
• Provide counseling and emotional support to children
• Monitor children’s progress and adjust care plans as needed
• Work closely with caregivers, staff, and management to ensure consistent support
• Coordinate with external agencies, schools, healthcare providers, and government offices
• Facilitate family tracing, reunification, or alternative placement when appropriate
• Maintain accurate and confidential case records and reports
• Ensure compliance with child protection laws, policies, and ethical standards
• Respond to crisis situations and provide appropriate intervention
• Conduct home visits and fieldwork when required
• Organize and participate in programs that promote child development and well-being
• Advocate for the rights and best interests of each child

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW)
• Licensed Social Worker

• Experience working with children, preferably in residential care, orphanages, or community services
• Background in case management, counseling, or child protection is an advantage
• We welcome applications from fresh graduates and newly licensed Social Workers

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassion, patience, and empathy when working with vulnerable children
• Ability to assess needs and develop effective care plans
• Crisis intervention and problem-solving skills
• Good organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries

• Understanding of child development and behavior
• Familiarity with child protection laws and social welfare policies
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and safeguarding practices

• Willingness to work onsite and conduct field visits when necessary
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and external agencies
• Background check/clearance as required
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
