Position Overview
We are looking for a Bookkeeper to manage the financial records and transactions of our organization. The role requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work within a sensitive and supportive environment for vulnerable children.The ideal candidate will have experience in bookkeeping, be patient, and possess a genuine love for children.
Key Responsibilities- Record and maintain all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Issue donation receipts and Deeds of Donation.
- Maintain periodic transaction reports and reconcile accounts.
- Prepare payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform bookkeeping duties, including coding and recording entries in the Book of Accounts.
- Reconcile insurance remittances and other related financial tasks.
- Ensure accurate, organized, and up-to-date financial records.
- Assist with any additional administrative financial tasks as assigned.
- TESDA Bookkeeping NC II certificate holder, or
- College level or graduate of any business-related course.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Docs and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Patience and a genuine love for children.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a bookkeeping or administrative role is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Cebuano and Tagalog is preferred.
- A valid driver's license is a plus.
