Hotel Management Trainee (Dumaguete - based)

Job Summary

The Hotel Management Trainee, which is a vacancy under U-BIX affiliate, Bravo Hotel, will undergo comprehensive exposure across hotel operations, sales, marketing, and back‑of‑house functions. This role is designed to develop future hotel leaders by providing hands‑on operational experience, leadership training, and strategic understanding of hotel management.

• Assist in overseeing daily hotel operations to ensure efficient service delivery and high guest satisfaction
• Rotate across key departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Sales, and Administration
• Support sales and marketing initiatives to drive occupancy, revenue, and brand awareness
• Assist in monitoring back‑of‑house operations, including housekeeping standards, inventory, maintenance, and cost control
• Handle guest concerns and support service recovery efforts
• Assist in staff coordination, training, and performance monitoring
• Prepare reports, analyses, and recommendations for management
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety standards, and local regulations
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned by senior management

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field
• Graduate of a reputable college or university. Latin honor graduate (Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude, or Summa Cum Laude) is highly preferred
• Strong leadership potential with a willingness to learn all aspects of hotel operations
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of hotel systems is an advantage
• Willing to work flexible hours, rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as these are inherent in hospitality operations
