Job Description:

• Respond to In Touch Lines in a timely, professional, compassionate, and supportive manner.
• Conduct risk assessment, safety planning, and de-escalation for at-risk clients.
• Prepare accurate intake reports and promptly process counseling requests, escalations, wellness checks, emails, and referrals.
• Monitor lines, coordinate support, and ensure smooth shift hand-offs and continuity of case details.
• Activate Crisis Management Protocol when appropriate and support crisis cases, including coordination with emergency services or contacts as needed.Others: Provide peer-to-peer debriefing, support In Touch-related activities, assist with reports and call utilization data, and help manage work resources such as the helpline referral database.

• The ideal candidate has attended Crisis Line volunteer training or a similar program, or is willing to undergo training, supervision, feedback, and wellness support.
• They should have strong telephone and customer support skills, demonstrate warmth and empathy, work well independently and with a team, and be mature, resilient, adaptive, and able to cope effectively.
• The role requires computer literacy, comfort with remote communication tools, proficiency in English and Tagalog, a stable home internet connection, and the ability to use a company-issued laptop and headset.
• Previous volunteer work is preferred but not required, and candidates should be comfortable using technology for work processes, reporting, and administration.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with mental health experience is required; being a Psychometrician board passer or pursuing a Master’s degree in Psychology is preferred.
