Key Responsibilities- Audit store cash paid-out entries and coordinate with stores to resolve discrepancies.
- Perform account reconciliations, analysis, and preparation of journal entries for miscellaneous accounts.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned accounting tasks and deliverables.
- Provide guidance and support to internal and external customers regarding accounting concerns.
- Assist and facilitate internal and external audit activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Handle concerns and issues professionally while maintaining positive working relationships.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related Business course.
- Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliation, or finance-related functions.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in cash reconciliation and journal entry preparation.
- Exposure to audit support and account analysis.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities within deadlines.
- Customer-focused and capable of coordinating with various stakeholders.
