An Accounting Clerk in a hotel is responsible for maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with the hotel's accounting operations to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or hotel operations is an advantage.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processed and recorded daily financial transactions with accuracy.
- Prepared invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other accounting documents.
- Monitored accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assisted in bank reconciliations and monthly financial reporting.
- Maintained organized financial records and filing systems.
- Coordinated with different departments regarding billing and payment concerns.
- Ensured compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
