Job Summary
  • Formulates and implements a comprehensive risk management system for the Trust & Investment Group (TIG) activities in coordination with the Risk Management Group.
  • Support the Department Head – Trust and Insurance Risk to develop and maintain strong policies and practices in the standards of conduct for both bank personnel and the customers pursuant to the prevailing regulatory requirements of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) covering the basic principles and ethical business practices.
How will you contribute?
  • Establishes a risk management system for the various activities in trust covering the areas of product development, trading and investments, market, liquidity and operations.
  • Implements the risk management tools for trust covering the areas of trading limits, exposure limits, liquidity and interest rate risk management, accreditation of counterparties as well as operational risks.
  • Addresses and provides solutions to the final Reports on Examination exceptions with respect to risk management and control.
  • Presents recommended changes in policies and processes which are expected to contribute favorably to the risk management system of the group.
  • Monitors daily various regulatory and internal limits and coordinates the breaches, if any, with personnel concern for its timely resolution/compliance.
  • Keeping abreast with new regulations/ circulars from BSP, SEC and IC concerning trust and other fiduciary matters for inclusion in the monthly reports to TC and Risk Oversight Committee (ROC).
  • Prepares monthly reports to TC & ROC on various trust risk exposures.
  • Facilitates the timely completion and implementation of ORM (Operational Risk Management) tools and methodologies and ensures accuracy and objectivity all throughout the process. Promotes risk awareness by effectively communicating to all staff their responsibilities in relation to Operational Risk Management.
  • Ensure timely and quality renewal of institutional wide insurance policies monitored by the division
What will make you successful?
  • College degree in business related or quantitative subjects
  • Sufficient knowledge of Trust products with some accounting background and good knowledge of other risk areas – operations risk and market risk.
  • Preferably certified by TIFP
  • At least 3 years of experience in Risk Management
