Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architectural Designer and Project Coordinator with a minimum of 5 years of proven expertise in construction office settings. The ideal candidate should possess advanced skills in 2D and 3D design, have a strong portfolio in architectural projects, and excel in project coordination and communication.

Job Description:

As an Architectural Designer and Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following:

• Handling and participating in the complete plan preparation of 2 or more projects submitted for permit, including structural and MEPF components.
• Proficiently and accurately creating 2D plans.
• Demonstrating advanced 3D rendering skills using software such as Vray, Lumion and Twinmotion.
• Expertise in image editing and post-processing.
• Designing at least one ground-up architectural project and one renovation project.
• Conducting site inspections/surveys and preparing detailed as-built plans.
• Familiarity with BIM (Archicad basic, willingness to be trained), steel construction detailing, interior fitouts detailing, and value engineering.
• Coordinating with MEP consultants, structural consultants, material suppliers, site operations/subcontractors, and project owners/representatives/3rd party consultants for RFA & RFI requests.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction office (excluding apprenticeship).
• Proficiency in 2D plans.
• Advanced 3D rendering skills using Vray, Lumion, and Twinmotion.
• Experience in complete plan preparation of 2 or more projects submitted for permit.
• Familiarity with BIM (Archicad basic, willingness to be trained), steel construction detailing, interior fitouts detailing, and value engineering.
• Coordination experience with MEP consultants, structural consultants, material suppliers, site operations/subcontractors, and project owners/representatives/3rd party consultants.
• Familiarity with image editing and post-processing.
• Hardworking, resourceful, and adaptable to client's preferences/concepts (e.g., Feng Shui).
• Pro-active and organized.

Advantageous Qualifications:

• Field construction experience.
• PRC Architecture licensed.
• Fluent and communicative in design presentations.
• Other architecture/construction-related work experience.
