Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead and manage healthcare BPO projects across operations, client delivery, process improvement, and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will oversee project planning, execution, stakeholder communication, and operational performance while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and client requirements.

This role requires strong leadership, healthcare domain knowledge, and expertise in managing timelines, resources, risks, and service delivery within a fast-paced BPO environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end project management for healthcare BPO programs, including implementation, transition, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as operations, quality assurance, training, IT, HR, and client services.
  • Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for project updates and escalations.
  • Monitor project KPIs, SLAs, productivity metrics, and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, HIPAA standards, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide detailed progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Identify operational gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support workforce planning, change management, and transition activities.
  • Track project risks, dependencies, and issue resolution to ensure successful delivery.
  • Facilitate process documentation, SOP creation, and knowledge transfer activities.
  • Lead and mentor project teams to achieve performance and delivery goals.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1–3 years of project management experience in a healthcare BPO or healthcare operations environment.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare processes such as claims processing, prior authorization, medical billing, revenue cycle management, or patient support services.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or PMP methodologies is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and metrics-driven environment.
Preferred Skills
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or Agile certification preferred.
  • Experience handling U.S. healthcare accounts is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulations.
  • Strong presentation and reporting skills.
  • Ability to manage remote and cross-functional teams.
