Instructional Design Lead

What you'll be doing...

You'll be responsible for designing, evaluating, and creating end-to-end learning projects to bring

learning solutions to life in various modalities. This role is expected to independently complete projects (new learning content, modifications to existing content, etc.), work with peers and stakeholders, and present their projects as appropriate throughout the design cycle.

• Manage the end-to-end process for designing and developing learning content for a variety of projects and learning assets
• Build the conceptual design of training assets, including the learning objectives and storyboard or outline, in alignment with business requirements
• Create detailed design using in-brand templates for projects, inclusive of activities, assessments, and reinforcement
• Engage with stakeholders for feedback and reviews, as needed
• Manage trainer readiness processes for instructor-led programs

• Develop learning content for projects using a variety of modalities, including eLearning, Performance Support, Virtual Instructor Led, and Instructor Led – driving all activities from development to publication
• Leverage relevant instructional design and development tools to develop engaging materials
• Create and edit multimedia elements, including graphic design
• Circulate draft reviews to appropriate stakeholders and incorporate feedback following the review cycle
• Finalize content drafts for publication, and publish final content to the respective delivery outlet
• Adhere to quality standards independently, engaging supervisor as needed

• Proactively identify when modifications to existing content are needed, and make updates accordingly

• Be willing and eager to learn, receptive to feedback, and adaptable to the needs of their supervisor and stakeholders
• Remain updated with instructional design best practices

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree (may substitute with 4 or more years of equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 4 years of instructional design experience is required
• Instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Rapid Content Development, etc.)
• Experience with any instructional design model is welcome, as we are open to various approaches and methodologies
• Content design/development in various modalities, including: eLearning, Performance Support, Virtual Instructor Led, Instructor Led, hybrid etc.
• Experience with some of the listed content modalities is sufficient, as comprehensive expertise in all areas is not required
• Curriculum development and review
• Willingness to travel (up to 25%)
• Willingness to work US-based hours

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Project management
• Experience with content development tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Adobe Creative Cloud, Vyond, Skyllful, Google Suite, etc.)
• Video Production
• Graphic Design
• L1 - 4 evaluation and ROI of learning solutions
• Experience in a Telco workgroup
