Paralegal Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing, reviewing, and organizing legal and HR-related file such as contracts, memoranda, policies, and notices
  • Support HR compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and internal policies
  • Conduct legal and policy research related to HR and corporate matters
  • Assist in handling employee relations cases, documentation, and disciplinary procedures
  • Maintain and organize employee records, legal files, and HR compliance documents
  • Monitor deadlines for contracts, renewals, government filings, and compliance requirements
  • Coordinate with government agencies (e.g., labor, social security, and regulatory bodies) as needed
  • Draft reports, summaries, and documentation for HR and legal review
  • Assist in the review of employment contracts, company policies, and agreements
  • Ensure confidentiality of employee, HR, and legal information at all times
  • Provide administrative support for HR and Legal Department initiatives and projects
Qualifications
  • Must have completed at least two (2) years of Law School; OR
  • Must possess a Master of Legal Studies (MLS) degree; OR
  • Must possess a Paralegal Certificate from a recognized institution
  • Background in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Compliance, or Legal Support is an advantage
  • Knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and corporate compliance requirements
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and HR documentation processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Ability to handle confidential HR and legal matters professionally
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate with employees and management
  • Professional demeanor and strong ethical standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in HR operations, employee relations, or labor law compliance
  • Familiarity with Philippine labor standards and regulatory reporting
  • Experience in contract review, policy drafting, or compliance monitoring
  • Strong case documentation and report writing skills
