To support the continued growth of this dynamic business, we are seeking a qualified Management Engineer (Process Engineer) to strengthen our Commercial Department.

Your responsibility

As a Standard Management Engineer, you are responsible for maintaining, updating, and optimizing technical and commercial documentation to ensure that manufacturing processes meet efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness standards.

This role involves analyzing production data and evaluating process deviations to improve manufacturing consistency, cost-control, and quality.

• Manufacturing Process Evaluation & Standardization
• Evaluate, create, update, and maintain manufacturing instructions (PMI) for production orders, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Use standard manufacturing instructions (SMI), add customization steps for technical and design elements based on client specifications and production requirements to create PMI.
• Develop and document step-by-step manufacturing instructions to streamline production execution according to client specifications.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste, minimize errors, and enhance productivity.
• Documentation & Data Management
• Create and maintain Production Manufacturing Instruction (PMI), ensuring all necessary data is available for manufacturing.
• Compile and manage production box content, including reference samples, technical drawings, process documentation, and work instructions.
• Assist in building and maintaining a database of standardized text modules for recurring production operation steps, improving consistency in work instructions.
• Ensure proper documentation is maintained in ERP systems and other data management tools.
• Process Deviation & Cost Analysis
• Encode and update standard cost in the Epicor system based on materials and labor quantity defined in PMI.
• Prepare detailed reports and analyses (ERP, Excel, and other tools) for senior management use, providing recommendations based on data insights.
• Risk Management & Compliance
• Utilize risk management techniques to assess risks associated with manufacturing steps and propose risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality, environmental, and safety standards and that these are accurately reflected in the PMI.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce lead times, and optimize resource utilization.
• Collaboration & Communication
• Work closely with R&D, Sampling, Process Engineering, and Production teams to ensure that all process modifications and improvements are effectively implemented.
• Collaborate with the Commercial team to ensure customer specifications are accurately reflected in production instructions and documentation.
• Support the Production team by providing detailed manufacturing guidelines, process flow instructions, and standardized work procedures.
• Other Responsibilities
• Provide technical training to relevant personnel on new or revised manufacturing processes.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss process improvements and technical updates.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
• Fresh graduates are welcome; relevant internships or project work are an advantage
• Experience with and proficiency in ERP systems (preferably Epicor), production data analysis, process documentation and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in step-by-step process documentation to accurately reflect all technical and design elements and to include environmental, health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of risk assessment techniques, production workflow optimization, and documentation of best practices.
• Experience in bill of materials (BOM), bill of operation (BOO), process mapping, and work instruction development.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
