Travel Coordinator

Booking and Scheduling: Arranging flights, accommodation, car rentals, and transfers.
- Policy Compliance: Ensuring all travel arrangements adhere to corporate travel budgets and policies.
- Expense and Vendor Management: Reviewing expense reports for accuracy, processing payments, and managing relationships with travel vendors.
- Traveler Support & Risk Management: Providing support for travel issues (flights, visas), handling emergencies, and ensuring traveller safety.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintaining vendor trackers, scheduling meetings with clients, and assisting with visa/passport requirements.
- Negotiation: Securing favorable rates with airlines and hotels.
- System Knowledge: Proficiency in travel management technology and tools.
- Communication: Interacting effectively with travelers and vendors.
- Problem-Solving: Resolving travel disruptions efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in tourism, hospitality, or business, along with 1–2+ years of experience in travel logistics, administration, or customer service. Key qualifications include proficiency in Travel Management systems (e.g., SABRE, Amadeus), strong communication skills, and knowledge of travel regulations.
- Education: At least Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Previous experience in travel agency, airline, or corporate travel management (often 2+ years) is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Travel Management Systems such as SABRE or Amadeus, and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of travel regulations, visa requirements, and corporate travel policies.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication (verbal/written), customer service, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
