About the role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager - SAP MDM to join our dynamic team at Ascendion in Metro Manila. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to lead and manage SAP Master Data Management (MDM) projects for our clients.In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing project execution, ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. This position is strategically important as it directly impacts client satisfaction and business growth, making it a key role within our project delivery framework.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving project success whilst ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and client requirements.
Key responsibilities- Lead and manage end-to-end SAP MDM project delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and senior management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, implementing contingency plans as necessary
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including technical consultants, business analysts, and implementation partners
- Manage stakeholder communication and expectations, ensuring alignment on project objectives and deliverables
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and compliance requirements
- Prepare and present project documentation, including project charters, status reports, and post-implementation reviews
- Support resource planning and team development initiatives
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in SAP environments, with specific expertise in Master Data Management (MDM) implementation projects
- Strong knowledge of SAP MDM modules, data governance, and master data management concepts
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in IT project management, preferably in enterprise software implementations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or other SAP modules is a significant advantage
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
