About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Business Advisory team. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting experience, excellent communication skills, and prior exposure to Australian clients.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain cloud accounting files and process bank transactions
- Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts and reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS), STP, tax returns, and other compliance reports
- Handle superannuation, workers compensation, and trust reconciliations
- Communicate with clients and respond to queries professionally
- Assist with catch-up bookkeeping, reconciled financials, and ad hoc accounting projects
- CPA (Philippines) with active PRC license
- 3–5 years of accounting experience
- Australian accounting experience required
- Experience with Business Activity Statements (BAS) is required
- Experience using Solve Accounting and Xero is required
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines independently
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
