About the Role

We are seeking a Sales Engineer | Mechanical to join our sales team at our office in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial strategic role in bridging the gap between our technical capabilities and client needs.

As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding complex mechanical solutions and effectively communicating their value to prospective clients. This role is essential to driving revenue growth and expanding our client base within the mechanical engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the mechanical engineering and related industries
  2. Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients and stakeholders
  3. Analyse client requirements and propose tailored mechanical solutions that address their business challenges
  4. Collaborate with the engineering and technical teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and competitive
  5. Prepare detailed quotations, proposals and technical documentation for clients
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities
  7. Provide technical support and guidance throughout the sales cycle and post-sale implementation
  8. Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and key performance indicators
  9. Attend industry events, trade shows and networking sessions to promote our services and generate leads
  10. Maintain comprehensive records of sales activities, client interactions and pipeline management
What We're Looking For
  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
  2. 3-5 years of experience in a sales or sales engineering role, preferably within the mechanical engineering, manufacturing or industrial sector
  3. Strong technical knowledge and understanding of mechanical systems, equipment and engineering principles
  4. Proven track record of successfully closing sales deals and exceeding sales targets
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a solution-oriented mindset
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management (CRM) software
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  9. Professional demeanour with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  10. Willingness to travel occasionally to meet clients and attend business development activities
  11. Preferred: Experience in the Philippines market and familiarity with local industry standards and regulations
