Senior Accountant (Risk/GA)

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Research, identify, resolve, and manage risk and controls, support internal and external auditing and closing activities, and ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Lead and coach junior team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or any finance-related course.
• With 3-4 years of professional experience in general accounting in BPO/shared service/international industries. Must have experience in preparation of journal entries, balance sheet, financial control, risk management or auditing, and in applying GAAP.
• Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups)
• Good to have experience in team leadership or acting as an SME.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Employment Type: Contract/Project-based; 6 months initial duration but subject for extension depends on business needs.
• Work Schedule: Monday- Friday. Night Shift (10PM- 7AM) but must be open to work on shifting when needed.
• Work Set-up: 100% onsite (might consider temporary hybrid depends on our current economic situation)
• Location: BGC, Taguig
