Senior Accountant - Xero, CPA (Onsite, Pasig)

Job description:

1. Financial

• Maintain client accounts, using a variety of accounting systems.
• Xero accounting system experience is required for this role. (XPM)
• Prepare and meticulously analyze financial reports, ensuring precision and compliance with regulatory standards for our clients.
• Generate detailed financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish and uphold accounting systems to streamline and optimize financial reporting procedures.

1. Budgeting and Forecasting

• Collaborate closely with firm executive team.
• Develop financial forecasts and analyses crucial for supporting strategic decision-making.

1. Cost Management

• Assist in overseeing the client's financial activities to enhance cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational enhancements.

1. Tax Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to relevant tax regulations and liaise with colleagues or external tax advisors as necessary.
• Prepare tax returns and other required documentation accurately and within specified timelines.

1. Financial Analysis

• Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to aid in business planning and decision-making processes.
• Provide valuable insights into financial performance and trends, contributing to the development of strategic initiatives.

1. Collaboration

• Work in close conjunction with legal and administrative teams, financiers and our clients to comprehend and address financial requirements.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders as directed.
• Take instruction from Supervisors.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA or CA certification is required.
• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role is required.
• Profound knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, accounting systems, and taxation.
• Strong analytical prowess and problem-solving skills, coupled with acute attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across diverse teams.
• Eagerness to learn, grow, and adapt within a dynamic professional environment.
