Staff Accountant

General Ledger (GL) Maintenance: Perform daily accounting entries, prepare journal entries, and conduct detailed account reconciliations (e.g., bank, payroll, prepaid expenses, fixed assets).
- Month-End Close: Actively participate in the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned duties and maintaining supporting documentation.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of internal financial statements, management reports, and analysis as required by the Senior Accountant or Controller.
- Audit & Compliance: Support external audits by preparing requested documentation, schedules, and work papers. Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and GAAP.
- Intercompany: Manage and reconcile basic intercompany transactions, if applicable.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 1-3 years of progressive experience in accounting or public accounting.
- Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (gaap). High proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, vlooksup) and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- GAAP Certification
- Have experience working in a US-based company
