About the role
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team in Cebu, Central Visayas on a full-time basis, with availability to commence in August. This is a strategic position within our Human Resources department, playing a crucial role in developing and implementing HR initiatives that support our business objectives and foster a positive workplace culture.As HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing key HR functions, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations and company policies. Key responsibilities
Develop, implement and oversee human resources policies, procedures and programmes that align with company objectives and legal requirements
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, selection and onboarding of new employees
Administer employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary procedures, grievance handling and conflict resolution
Ensure compliance with labour laws, employment regulations and local statutory requirements in Cebu and the Philippines
Coordinate and deliver employee training and development programmes to enhance staff capability and career progression
Manage employee benefits administration, payroll coordination and leave management systems
Conduct regular HR analytics and reporting to provide insights into workforce trends, turnover rates and departmental performance
Foster a positive workplace culture by organising employee engagement activities, team building events and wellness initiatives
Handle confidential HR matters with discretion and maintain accurate employee records and documentation
Collaborate with senior management to identify talent gaps and develop succession planning strategies
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in a generalist HR role or HR consulting environment
Comprehensive knowledge of Philippine labour laws, employment regulations and statutory compliance requirements
Strong expertise in recruitment, employee relations, performance management and HR policy development
Demonstrated proficiency with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and HR management software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships across all organisational levels
Strong organisational and project management capabilities with attention to detail
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
HR certification such as CHRP, CIPD or equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable
Experience in a business process outsourcing or consulting environment is advantageous
