HR OFFICER
Area of Assignment: Capitol Main Office
Job Summary
You will be responsible for supporting a wide range of human resources functions across the organization. Serving as a key support to the HR Manager, the HR Officer acts as a vital link between management and employees, contributing to a productive, respectful, and legally compliant work environment.
Responsibilities:
HR DEPARTMENT SUPPORT- Supports all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, performance management, and policy implementation.
- Ensure accurate and timely administration of payroll, benefits, and government-mandated contributions.
- Supports the HR Manager in the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with company objectives and best practices.
- Ensures compliance with labor laws, health and safety standards, and internal policies.
- Assists the HR Manager in the development, implementation, and monitoring of employee engagement and retention initiatives:
- Conducting or assisting with employee surveys and feedback collection
- Tracking and reporting on employee turnover, exit interview data, and retention trends
- Assisting in developing communication materials related to engagement and retention programs
- Providing administrative support for programs such as mentorship, rewards, or career development
- Collaborating with managers and employees to promote a positive workplace culture
- Maintains close coordination with Department Heads for workforce planning, staffing needs, and performance evaluations.
- Facilitates interdepartmental communication to align HR practices with operational goals.
- Acts as liaison between top management and employees for HR-related matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years progressive experience in HR
- Experience in executive-level administrative support is a strong advantage.
- Strong knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, discretion, and integrity.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
Working Conditions:
- Office-based role with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday.
- Occasional field work or travel to other branches may be required.
