Planning Manager
Production Scheduling: The position is primarily responsible for planning and managing the preparation of production schedules and monitors that products are made efficiently and timely to meet shipment requirements and production forecast. Manage the Production Planning and Inventory Controller to checks for planning errors and recommends corrective action and develops new programs to improve the production control systems Manage the planners working with customer service team on delivery schedules commitments and communication.
- Material and Inventory Management: Manage and monitor Inventory of raw materials and finished products. Ability to determine requirements for the supply of raw materials and ensures proper planning for raw material mix to maximize production output and minimize work-in-process inventory. Properly allocates work-in-process into different product lines to serve commitments and build inventories for sales forecast.
- Business Management and Product/Process Information: Manage planners to coordinates with production and process engineering on priorities and for process identification. Monitors product and process information (cycle time, bottlenecks, downtime, process material input, production output and yield) used in material and capacity planning. Support the planning procedures and documentations for internal audits and ISO9000 external audits.
- Procurement: Manage the technical buyer on purchases of capital equipment, factory supplies, office equipment and supplies and contracting services. Responsible for the delivery of the best quality products and services at the most reasonable price in the most opportune time in order to contribute to the timely attainment of company projects, goals and objectives. Formulates, reviews, revises and implements purchasing policies and procedures consistent with the values of LEPI. Interacts directly with Production, Operations Support Group and Quality Support Services to ensure the delivery of correct/right materials, goods and service requirements of the company, Works closely with Warehouse and Finance Departments for the maintenance of a healthy inventory and the payment of accountabilities with suppliers, respectively, It is responsible for the documentation and speedy resolution of grievances and complaints by end users on defective or unacceptable goods.
- Suppliers Selection and Evaluation: Responsible for the consistent implementation of established company policies on supplier selection, accreditation and evaluation (including Supplier Site Audits). Also responsible for the review and revision of the established procedures on supplier accreditation and evaluation as appropriate. Build and maintain a credible and a professional business relationship with suppliers.
