We are seeking a dynamic and tech-savvy Business Development Supervisor/Manager to lead growth initiatives in the IT solutions industry. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and driving the adoption of IT services and products.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in IT sales, a deep understanding of technology trends, and the ability to translate client needs into tailored IT solutions.
Strategic Planning and Market Development- Develop and execute business strategies to grow the company’s presence in the IT solutions market.
Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, including emerging technologies and innovations. Create customized go-to-market strategies for software, hardware, cloud, and managed services.
Client Engagement and Relationship Building- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Engage with potential clients to understand their IT needs and propose tailored solutions. Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value accounts, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
Team Leadership and Collaboration- Supervise, train, and mentor the business development team to exceed sales targets. Work closely with technical teams to design solutions that meet client requirements. Foster collaboration between sales, marketing, and product teams to maximize revenue potential.
Sales and Revenue Growth- Develop and manage the sales pipeline for IT products and services. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements (SLAs) with clients. Ensure consistent achievement of sales and revenue targets by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
Industry Knowledge and Competitor Analysis Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings. Conduct market research to refine business strategies and stay ahead of competitors. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications/Requirements
Educational BackgroundBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
MBA or certification in IT sales, cloud technologies, or project management is an advantage.
Experience
[3-5 years for Supervisor, 5-8 years for Manager] of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management in the IT solutions sector.Demonstrated success in selling IT services, including software, hardware, cloud solutions, or managed services.
Skills and CompetenciesStrong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and software solutions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex IT concepts to non-technical clients.
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and productivity software.
