Job Summary:
The Project Engineer – Fit-Out is responsible for managing the fit-out phase of Bo's Coffee store construction projects, ensuring that all technical, aesthetic, and functional requirements are met according to brand standards. This role involves on-site supervision, coordination with contractors and vendors, and strict adherence to quality, cost, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities: Project Execution & Oversight
Supervise and manage the fit-out works of Bo's Coffee stores from pre-construction to turnover.Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved plans, specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
Conduct regular site inspections and monitor progress and workmanship quality.
CoordinationLiaise with contractors, suppliers, architects, designers, and mall/project management teams.
Coordinate deliveries and scheduling of various trades to ensure seamless project progression.
Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Operations, Marketing, Purchasing) for project alignment.
Budget & Cost ManagementAssist in project cost estimation and control.
Track expenses against budget and report any variances with justification.
Evaluate contractor billing and validate accomplishment reports before payment.
Documentation & ReportingPrepare daily/weekly site reports including progress photos and updates.
Maintain detailed project documentation including permits, plans, and change orders.
Report immediately any issues, delays, or deviations from plans.
Quality Assurance & TurnoverConduct punch listing and ensure corrective works are completed prior to turnover.
Guarantee that all stores reflect the Bo’s Coffee ambiance and brand identity.
Assist in the post-construction evaluation and address any defects or warranty claims.
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
At least 2-3 years of experience in interior fit-out projects, preferably in retail or F&B.Licensed Civil Engineer or Architect is a plus.
Proficient in project management tools and software (AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.).
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Willing to travel and be assigned on-site nationwide.
