About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Australian Property Management Specialist to manage a portfolio of residential properties while delivering exceptional service to landlords and tenants. This role is heavily focused on portfolio management, client communication, lease administration, arrears management, compliance, and protecting long-term client relationships, with administrative support forming a smaller part of the role.
Ideal Candidate (Must-Have Requirements)- Solid experience managing an Australian residential property portfolio
- Strong understanding of Australian property management processes and legislation
- Experience handling landlord and tenant communications
- Confident in managing rent arrears, lease renewals, bond refunds, and maintenance coordination
- Familiar with inspections, compliance requirements, and tenancy documentation
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Proactive, customer-focused, and able to manage competing priorities independently
- Experience using Australian property management software is highly regarded
- Manage an assigned portfolio of Australian residential properties
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants
- Coordinate lease renewals, rent reviews, and tenancy documentation
- Monitor rent arrears and follow up on outstanding payments
- Coordinate maintenance requests and liaise with contractors
- Process bond refunds, lease compliance, and property documentation
- Handle escalations and resolve tenancy issues professionally
- Maintain accurate property records and system updates
- Monitor portfolio performance and help minimise listing losses through proactive client engagement
- Provide administrative support, including reporting, record keeping, and compliance documentation
