Technical sales engineer- (luzon) - Tarlac
JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales Engineer main function is to sell the company’s products such as GENERATOR and services to contractors, businesses and government organizations. Sales generation within CENTRAL LUZON.
Understand and acquires technical knowledge on the product and services offered by the group / department. To understand how to communicate the content and purpose of the each quotation to the end user / client. Understand the status and timing of each proposal if there is a potential to close a deal, as well as the reasons for not getting the transaction.
Monitors the status of awarded works with regular communication with the client and updates. Produces and complies with regular reports needed by Management.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Establish new accounts and handle existing accounts, if needed.
- Prepare and deliver powerful presentation of products to prospective customers.
- Make proposal, close deals and meet targeted sales objectives.
- Visit Customer and promote company's products such as generator machines, tools and other products that may be assigned
- Conduct technical discussions for generator machine tools and assess customer demands
- Monitor delivery and installation at the customer’s site
- Install company products at customer sites, ensure that they are working effectively, and provide any necessary training and instruction to users.
- Carry out the on-site repair of company products and ensure that they are working effectively.
- Respond to technical enquiries from customers and ensure that any problems presented are resolved to their satisfaction.
- Undertake the testing of company products and equipment, as requested, to ensure that they are working effectively.
- Reports problems with company products to relevant company staff to ensure that these are resolved.
- Maintain an awareness of developments in company products to ensure that the company continues to provide up-to-date services.
- Provide technical pre-sales services such as but not limited to doing product demonstrations, proof of concept, technical presentation and technical consultation.
- Attend trainings and pass certifications as may be required by the company.
- Performs other functions which may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering Electrical/Electronic, Industrial, Mechanical, Civil, or related field.
- At least three (3) years technical and/or engineering sales experience or equivalent
- With solid experience in GENSET Selling and Basic Troubleshooting
- Willing to travel domestically
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications like Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Can Start ASAP
