BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to identify new business opportunities, generate qualified leads, and support company growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and experienced in prospecting, relationship building, and sales pipeline management. This role requires strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to engage potential clients across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting- Identify and research prospective clients and business opportunities.
- Generate qualified leads through outbound outreach, networking, referrals, and online platforms.
- Conduct cold calls, cold emails, and LinkedIn outreach campaigns.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Initiate contact with prospective clients and conduct discovery conversations.
- Understand client needs, challenges, and business objectives.
- Present company products and services effectively.
- Schedule meetings and presentations for decision-makers.
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and sales materials.
- Follow up with prospects throughout the sales cycle.
- Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and sales activities within the CRM system.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.
- Support client retention and account growth initiatives.
- Track and report key business development metrics.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
- Meet or exceed individual KPIs and revenue targets.
Qualifications
Required Experience- 2–4 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Lead Generation, Account Management, or a related role.
- Proven experience in prospecting and generating qualified leads.
- Experience with outbound sales activities, including cold calling and email outreach.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience using CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive, or similar).
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and prospecting tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
