Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Manual Payroll Processing
Prepare and compute employee payroll manually based on attendance, overtime, and approved adjustments.
Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, allowances, overtime pay, and deductions.
  1. Verification of Payroll Data
Review employee timesheets, leave records, and attendance reports before payroll computation.
Validate adjustments such as salary changes, incentives, and deductions.
  1. Government Compliance
Compute and monitor statutory deductions including government contributions and taxes.
Ensure payroll practices comply with labor laws and company policies.
  1. Payroll Documentation
Maintain organized payroll records, computation sheets, and supporting documents.
Ensure confidentiality of payroll information.
  1. Payroll Reconciliation
Review payroll summaries and reconcile discrepancies before salary release.
Investigate and resolve payroll-related concerns raised by employees.
  1. Coordination with Departments
Coordinate with HR for employee movement such as new hires, resignations, promotions, and salary adjustments.
Work with the Finance department for payroll funding and salary distribution.
  1. Reporting
Prepare payroll summaries and reports for management review.
Assist in payroll audits and internal reviews.
  1. Process Monitoring
Ensure payroll deadlines are met despite manual processes.

Recommend improvements in payroll workflow and documentation.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology or any related course

Minimum of 2years of payroll experience, preferably handling manual payroll computation
Strong knowledge of manual payroll computation including overtime, holiday pay, and deductions.
Familiarity with labor laws and payroll compliance.

Understanding of government contributions and payroll documentation.
