A Business Development Assistant will support an organization's development team to ensure consistent and timely delivery of core services to investors and clients. He/She will assist in making plans to achieve the company's goals and objectives.
In addition, he/she will be responsible for monitoring business opportunities, conducting research on topics that will advance an organization's business and mission, and supporting routine and ad-hoc business development meetings and reporting.

He/She will also assist in preparing orders and proposals, coordinating deliveries and returns, and monitoring progress to meet deadlines.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare sales orders, job orders and coordinate deliveries.
- Assist in the creation of pull-out and transmittal forms, presentations, proposals, and brochures.
- Find reliable local suppliers through cold-calling and emailing.
- Process purchase requisitions and coordinate purchase orders and payments to local suppliers.
- Support the sales team by scheduling appointments and preparing for meetings.
- Update centralized team reports including but not limited to client POs, sales orders, price lists.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and filing documents.
Other functions and responsibilities:
- Research and develop a database of potential clients.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Attend meetings, inventory count, workshops, trials and training, as needed.
- Help coordinate promotional events, trade shows, and webinars.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
