Job Description

• Source, evaluate, and select new suppliers in line with the strategic and operational requirements
• Manage and develop relationships with existing suppliers to ensure long-term and performance-driven partnerships
• Lead commercial negotiations and establish contracts with new and existing suppliers
• Draft, review and maintain supplier agreements including pricing, lead times, quality requirements and terms & conditions
• Monitor supplier performance and follow up on deviations related to quality, delivery, cost and technical compliance
• Drive corrective and preventive actions together with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Support cost reduction initiatives including negotiations, technical discussions, value engineering and alternative sourcing
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Sales, Supply Chain and Operations to ensure technical and commercial alignment
• Contribute to sourcing strategies, supplier risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards and applicable regulations

Qualifications/Requirements

• Proven experience as a Strategic Buyer or similar role within the manufacturing industry
• Technical understanding of manufacturing processes, materials and production methods
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management
• Proven ability to manage supplier performance and follow up on quality and delivery deviations
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

• Experience working with international suppliers and global supply chains
• Knowledge of ERP systems
• Experience in supplier audits, quality management and technical supplier development
