Marine superintendent (technical)

Job Description

• Be a team player to ensure completed tasks are of high quality and in compliance with the set standards.
• Share the team’s workload for optimum workflow and adhere to the set timelines.
• Daily involvement with Design and Product Development as well as with customer-based engineering tasks.
• Support Document Controller in projects from start to finish.

• A graduate of mechanical engineering or any related engineering discipline, with significant experiences derived in manufacturing/design.
• A fast learner, willing to be trained and with a very pro-active attitude towards work.
• Be motivated to improve your problem-solving skills and completion of tasks.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, 2D and 3D. Knowledgeable in rendering and other advanced AutoCAD operations would be a plus.
• Proficiency in any 3D CAD software, preferably Solidworks/Autodesk Inventor. Must know how to interface between 2D and 3D CAD platforms effectively, as may be required in Shadow Diagrams generation and analysis.
• Proficient in basic product design and development and must be familiar with technical engineering documentations derived in a manufacturing set up such as technical inquiries, drawings, technical manuals. Project management skills is a plus.
• Collaborative and with very good communications skills, as may be required in liaising with clients and other company stakeholders on a day-to-day basis.
