Business Development Executive

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Pipeline Generation & Prospecting- Proactively identify and reach out to potential clients across target industries (logistics, construction, agriculture, public transport, mining, government, etc.)
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects using CRM tools, cold calls, referrals, industry events, and field visits
- Conduct territory mapping and account profiling to prioritize high-value opportunities
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline generation targets as set by the Sales Manager
- Engage prospects to understand their fleet needs, buying timeline, budget, and decision-making process
- Qualify leads based on agreed criteria before endorsing to the Sales Team
- Prepare complete lead handover briefs with all relevant prospect information for seamless Sales Team takeover
- Maintain consistent follow-up on dormant or long-cycle leads to keep them warm
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and industry developments in Northern Mindanao
- Represent Big Trucks Corporation at trade events, business expos, industry associations, and networking activities
- Gather and relay customer insights to the Sales and Marketing teams to support product positioning
- Submit weekly pipeline reports, activity logs, and prospecting updates to the Sales Manager
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to ensure smooth lead transitions and shared account intelligence
- Coordinate with Marketing on campaigns, collateral, and digital tools to support outreach
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or any related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management
- Experience in the trucking, automotive, heavy equipment, or fleet industry is a strong advantage
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation or sales targets
- Excellent prospecting, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills — both in English and Filipino/Bisaya
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with field and on-the-road work
- Proficient in CRM software, MS Office, and basic digital tools
- Strong knowledge of Northern Mindanao's business landscape and key industries is an advantage
